The Kitchen

Small plates, big plates, and everything meant to be passed.

What We Cook

Our kitchen cooks the way the room feels: unfussy, generous, and better when it is shared. Shareables and tapas to start, sliders and full plates when the table is hungry, and a short list of desserts for the people who never learned to stop. Order in waves — it is meant to arrive that way.

From the Kitchen

Everything comes out when it is ready

Nothing waits under a heat lamp for the rest of the table. Plates leave the kitchen the minute they are done, which is why an order arrives in waves instead of all at once. Tell your server how you like to eat and they will pace it with you.

Came in for a drink before dinner somewhere else and never left. The smoked old fashioned is worth the trip on its own, and the bartender walked us through the whole list without rushing.

We ordered six plates between four of us and cleaned every one. Scallops and the street corn dip were the standouts. Easily the best small plates in the area.

The room is gorgeous. Stone, low light, actual candles on the table. Feels like a lodge but the food and drinks are city-level. Service was warm without hovering.

Went for martini night with a group of eight and the bar team took care of us all evening. Already booked the room back for a birthday in the fall.

Small and packs a punch. Great drinks and food. Slider Burger Trio was awesome. Lobster Rangoon was okay. Martinis were great. Nice cocktail menu.

How to build a table

Tapas is a pace, not a course. Four steps, roughly in this order, and nobody at the table goes hungry.

  1. Start with a dip

Queso or street corn hits the table first. Something to keep hands busy while the rest of your group parks.

  2. Three or four tapas per pair

Order in waves, not all at once. Plates come out as they are ready, which is the whole point.

  3. Put one big plate in the middle

Granite mac, a flatbread, the scallops. One thing everybody reaches across the table for.

  4. Finish at the bar

A martini after the plates clear, standing up, in no hurry. That is the part people remember.
