Our Story

Two climbers, a granite ledge, and a room that fills up after four.

About Granite

The emblem on our door is two climbers cresting a granite ledge at sunrise. It is where the name comes from and how the room feels — stone, reclaimed timber, wrought iron, and enough candlelight to make a Tuesday feel like an occasion.

The Name

Named for the ledge, not the state

Granite is what the hills around Hooksett are made of, and what the room is built to feel like. The emblem on our door — two climbers at sunrise — is the short version of the whole idea: earn the view, then sit down for a while.

The Room

Built for a long evening

Low amber light, reclaimed timber, and tables close enough that a plate can be passed across without anyone standing up. The bar runs the length of one wall for the nights you would rather not commit to a table.

The Kitchen

Small plates, ordered in waves

Nothing waits under a heat lamp. Plates leave the kitchen the minute they are ready, which is why an order arrives in waves instead of all at once — and why most tables end up ordering twice.
